The Kwara State Government is starting the 2025 Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Program today. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is leading this effort to teach students important digital skills.

Last year, the 2024 Kwara Summer Coding and Digital Literacy Program helped many students learn about Project Building, Python, Web Development, and Innovative Thinking. The training took place in six centers across the state.

This year, the program will be bigger. It will cover 50 public secondary schools in Kwara State and train 7,500 students. The goal is to help young people gain useful skills in coding and technology.

The courses available in this program include:

► Web Development
► Python
► Innovation Thinking
► Project Building

The program will start in the Kwara Central Senatorial District this week. After that, it will move to Kwara South and Kwara North Senatorial Districts in the next few weeks.

The official launch event for the Kwara Central Senatorial District will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 2 PM in three schools:

  1. Government Day Junior Secondary School, Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin South
  2. GSS, Ilorin East
  3. GDSS, Adewole, Ilorin West

The Kwara State Government is doing this to make sure students are ready for the future. Governor AbdulRazaq wants young people to have the knowledge they need to succeed in a world that is changing because of technology.
